Swim Lessons

I know this is a bit old, but as I just started this blog and it's mostly for the sake of my kids, I thought I would add some things they did over the summer. I enrolled Caiden in swim lessons at the Moses Lake Aquatic Center. He was just old enough to do the Level I class, which is basically "welcome to the water", or so I thought....A few days into it, I noticed his class over by the diving board and some of the kids in his class jumping off it. I thought, Whoa! That's a bit advanced! At first, Caiden only jumped in from the side of the pool, but by the end of the second week, he found the nerve and jumped right off the diving board! I was so surprised! Below is a video. You can tell he really had to think it over...

Summer 2008

Over the summer we spent A LOT of time out on the boat. Casey had been trying to talk Caiden into wakeboarding with him, but Caiden was a bit hesitant at first.....
Then Casey offered to by him a new transformer if he did it and the rest is history.....

Sometimes it's just too much fun for Paige to handle.

Caiden's bike

Caiden loves to go on bike rides with Casey almost every night. With his training wheels, he can cruise pretty fast. But Casey has been trying lately to get Caiden to learn to ride without them. He is not having much luck.....
Caiden gets excited at the thought of it, but then after trying for a while, he decides otherwise. He insists he is not going to learn until after he turns 5.

Hello friends and family! Well, we have finally joined the blogging world. It will be nice to keep our friends and family posted on what's going on in our lives and to have a little history of it for ourselves too! Currently we are living in Moses Lake, WA and have been here for nearly 5 years now. Casey is working as an Accountant and I am a stay-at-home mom. Caiden is 4 years old and in preschool and Paige just turned 2 this past summer.
